June 9th ACTers! (Scores are up!!)

The ACT scores for June 9th test takers are finally up! I think they came online this morning, in fact. So go ahead and log in before the site randomly shuts down like collegeboard ^_^

[url=http://www.actstudent.org]A Student Site for ACT Test Takers | ACT Student/url

My scores:
Composite- 29

English- 29
Mathematics- 27
Reading- 31
Science- 27

Comments- Yeah, I need to improve especially since I want to go to UVa OOS. I'm only entering 11th grade so I'd say I did fairly well for a person of my age. That's just me, anyway. Vent out all you want here!

Mine are similar; I am also a rising 11th grader and I think we both did pretty good!
C:30
E:32
M:29
R:31
S:29
Essay: 8 (ehh)
I’m sure we will both improve. I was one question from a 31 :(. Good luck and great job!

I agree, thanks! Also, did you have a fifth section on your ACT test?

I think C is for composite
are your essay scores already up?
im really happy with mine :)
C:35
E:34
M:36
R:36
S:35
Essay: idk I hope it doesnt screw everything up by being a 2

I’m really happy. It is somewhat frustrating to be 1 point away from a 36 (stupid english, who needs it :P) but I dont want to push my luck

Those scores are really good for only entering 11th. This was my first time taking the ACT but I’m sure I would have scored much lower a year ago. Youll both be 36’s by this time next year :)

And I didn’t take a class but I bought a book- Barron’s ACT 36. Its for the top test takers trying to improve from 30+ to near 36. Obviously it helped… Good luck

I think that if you had the essay that you wouldn’t have the 5th experimental section. I’m hoping for high 30’s by next year with some prep from books, but I won’t take a class.

Oh yeah, I forgot that ACT Plus Writing doesn’t have the fifth section. I’m doing a Testmasters class this fall. I hope it’s worth it and will get my score to where I need it to be for UVa.

@wcgh13 AMAZING JOB BRO! I’ll definitely look into that Barron’s book. I used Barrons for the AP tests, so I like how they work. But once again, that’s great for only entering 11th like us!

I can’t decide if I should retake mine or not. My first choice school is NYU.

Composite: 29
English: 35
Math: 27
Reading: 30
Science: 23

I just do not know! :/

Composite: 36
English: 35
Math: 36
Reading: 36
Science: 35
Essay: 12

I’m beyond happy with my scores. I definitely thought I would get around a 34.

Great job, evanh14. What grade are you entering?

@MegaManX 11th. I’m really surprised with my scores, actually. Especially since this is the first time I’ve taken it.

nice job evanh14. im actually kinda frustrated even with my good scores because I was one point away from the same score as you. That boils down to 1 science question or 1-2 english questions :P

@wcgh are you planning on retaking it?

No I’m done with standardized tests thank god :)

Done with standardized testing too!!!
