June ACT curves?

I don’t know super specifics, but I know both said they guessed a lot on math. Reading they felt as if they did decent. Science they felt bad about, guessing quite a but. English was “not bad.”

Thank you!!!

Reading:

-1 34
-2 33

Science:

-1 35

That’s all I know.

Come on guys. If you took it without writing, can you provide the curves?

@Preply
I think I’ll call BS on that, I highly doubt -1 on reading is 34 this time around. Some tests yes, this one I don’t think so.

I agree 100%!

Haha I was worried there for a sec!

Yet another of my friend’s:
Composite: 28
English: 31
U/M: 16
R.S: 16
Math: 23
Elem: 12
Coord/Alg: 12
Plane/trig: 10
Reading: 34
S.S: 17
A/L: 18
Science: 25

I’m not really sure how subscores work… is -1 actually going to be a 34?

Edit: nevermind, from the red book it looks like 17 subscore is probably -2

God, I hope not.

No, I’m pretty sure -1 is a 34. I found that I only got one wrong on my Reading section, and I did get a 34.

You probably made some mistake that you don’t remember because I doubt a -1 is a 34. We will see soon enough if getting a 35 in reading exists.

yeah, a subscore of 17 does not mean -1, it usually (judging by the red book) means more like -2

I had actually thought I got them all right, so a -1 works.

I’ll post my results when I get them, which hopefully will be tomorrow. I feel that I didn’t get more than 1 wrong on the reading, so I’ll be a pretty good indicator of the curve.

With that said, I’d be surprised if -1 was a 34.

Idk how sure someone can be Debater but I’m happy you are, I remember you posting some of the same answers I got but then I remember you posting some answers opposing mine so I don’t know what to think right now.

Don’t think that I am an authority on this. It is very possible that I was wrong. It’s best to take a consensus of everyone who posted their answers.

Confirmed: Based on a post that I saw in another thread, there is someone who got a 35 on reading. This means that -1 is not a 34, and probably (but not definitely) a 35.

I got a 35 on reading…

Remember, the subscores in scale 18 has no direct relationship to your section score. A subscore of 18 does not mean you made no mistake in that subsection either. You may have one mistake and still get 18/18 but 35 in a section. So a 17/18 subscore does not mean you only make one mistake (it could be 2) and ended up with 34. The subscores and section scores and based on different curves although both derived from your number of correct answers.

One question has been asked several times is “Why someone get 18/18 in English but only with a section score of 35?”
It is because -1 still gives a subscore of 18 but 35 in that section of that particular test. That happens all the time.
