Does anyone remember the letter answers for the last column #36-40 for the test? I ran out of time so I just bubbled D for all of them…

the last five answers on all test are usually A or D… to answer your question it would depend on which test # you took

@kms- what makes you say that? (and I wish I knew this before the test lol)

@kms I dont think thats true. Although the last passage was tricky just cause of content. the other 3 were really easy.

I now always do prose fiction last because I find it sort of challenging.

In one of the questions in the prose asked abt the dude’s change in emotion, one of the choices was from something to acceptance. I know this is really vague, but does anyone remember this question and the answer?

Yeah the question was something about how he addressed the Billy character and I put that it changed from critical to reluctant acceptance or something along those lines.

What was the answer to the question asking about what they used to study the galaxies?

@lj

I put that as well (B?)

I’m pretty sure the answer to the galaxy one was the answer choice about telescopes on ground and in space or something like that.

was he at the station waiting for someone? or was he “allowed to take the freight train because of his job”

Because of his job he was allowed to take it.

And he went to sudden acceptance.

And although I hated the last passage, it was telescopes on the ground and in the sky I think.

@lj Yeah I put that I think as well

i was so confused on that train one; i didn’t put the first two answers cuz those sounded dumb but I was like meeting someone? possilby just cuz i didn’t read it slow enough, and cuz of his job? well i thought that maybe you couldn’t conclude that so i put like c or something… :/

yeah, it was the telescopes because it said to in the first paragraph.

But it didn’t say sudden, it said “reluctant”. That’s what makes me a little doubtful because he didn’t seem reluctant.

ALSO:
The last question in the science passage asked abt what the passage clearly thought of the Milky Way or something like that. THe choices I remember were:

-exploding galaxy
-has more negative blah blah blah

I put the negative one

we learned it at an ACT seminar

i said they usually are…

@jallidalli I know but none of the other choices made sense either way

For the penguins passage, one of the questions asked how many people did this research prior? I put zero. Is that right?

@Stanford
That’s what I put.
