DOES ANYONE REMEMBER WHAT THE LAST 4 WERE…I CIRCLED ALL A AND IM JUST REALLY CURIOUS IF ANYONE REMEMBERS

also, people are talking about a galaxy question and im not sure if this is the same one but it was one about putting the galaxy in a box…the answer would be bleb into something else i believe

For the jazz section, the one people keep saying “his popularity was strong and has waned” or whatever. What was the question and other answers?? Because I don’t remember putting that at all…

for the jazz passage, im having trouble understand why the correct answer was that he was popular at first and then his popularity decreased. reading the passage, i didnt get the sense that he was ever popular at all, and the author mentioned a few times that he was unappreciated.

the choice i picked for that question was the “rock n roll inspired him” because it mentioned something about that at the end of the first paragraph, im not very confident with my answer though

For the 1st passage, I got critical –> reluctant acceptance.
Because he was critical of the magazine that the enthusiastic guy was holding up, but then invited him to help him, but instantly regretted it.

For jazz, I picked his popularity waned, but I really don’t remember why! I’m pretty sure there were clues in the passage that prompted me to pick that though.

I don’t remember what passage it was from… But the question was something like: “what word was used figuratively in the passage?” can’t remember all the answer choices but one was “washed (line reference)”. And I think that’s what I put… Does anyone else remember that one?

Did they give the age of the cop (or main character) in the first story? I didnt think they did so I put that as one of the answers for what the author didn’t answer in the passage…

@salsapenguin - They did. I believe it was 36 but that may just be a made up number. I think I read that the majority put that they didn’t mention his influences.

Edit: @college1216 - I put washed too… It was the fourth option, and I was pretty sure it was right because the other three were used regularly.

@College1216. That’s correct. “washed” wasn’t referring to the literal act of washing but instead to his emotions figuratively “washing” over him.

@bsmith. I put that the author didn’t list his influences for a different question…I think there were two questions asking what the author didnt do.

And for the passage about the Jazz singer, I never put an answer that said he was popular at one point, because I don’t think the passage ever said he was. It was said how there were like 10 people that watched him, and he was unappreciated and when he died no one cared…to put it bluntly, hahaha.

^but that was depicting his current situation. The other paragraph (forgot which one) showed how he was fantastic at the begging. Plus the other answer choices didn’t fit as well as that one.
