Alright, after taking the test everyone thinks about what they're going to get on the test. Post what you HONESTLY (honesty is the key) think you got on the test.
Also post what you think the curves will be.

Math 32-34 curve is going to be bad for this, there were only 4 questions that could cause trouble
Science PRAYING for a 30+ (all depends on curve)
Reading 35-36 I would be increadibly suprised if got below a 35 increadibly
English 33-34 The curve is going to be horrible for this section

Prediction:

IF I GET A 30+ on science 33
IF I GET A 29- on science 30-31

Predictions:
Reading: 35 or 36
Math: 34 or 35
Science: 34 or 35
English: 35 or 36

Composite: 35 or 36

Reading: 36
English: 36
Math: two/three wrong? Idk what that would be. 34? Hopefully a 35!
Science: one wrong…? 35?

Composite: 35-36

Do you guys think it is likely that I would get a 29 or below on this test…all the practice tests i’ve taken (from princeton review and “REAL ACT PREP”) i’ve gotten 30 - 30.5

Prediction:
reading 35
math 35
science 32
english 35

Prediction:
English: 36
Math: 33
Reading: 32
Science: 31
Essay: 10

Composite: 33

How do you guys feel the curve will be. Especially for science

E: 34
M: 33
S: 31/32
R: 31/32

I’m hoping to get a 32 in at least one of either science or reading so I can get a 33 composite. That’s my goal, so I may be a bit biased in my prediction.

Soccer I’m in the same boat as you. Basically if I get a 33 I will not take it again, However, a 33 basically all depends on science and math for me. I probably got a 35+ on reading and a 34+ on english, atleast a 31 on math but science, damn science, its screwed me every freaking time

science curves are typically against us according to the curves shown in the red book just 3 or 4 question wrong could put you to about a 28-30

Is it normal to come out of the test thinking you did worse than all your practice tests?

How does the essay affect my score? Because I didn’t take the writing section.

how does the ACT curve work? Is is based on the average score on each section by everybody?

No, it is predetermined based on the difficulty of the test as thought by the ACT.org (or whoever is in charge of the ACT).

I did it in the room after I finished the essay,

Pessimistic: 25 (anything below 27 doesn’t matter because I got 1820 on the SAT)
Realistic: 28
Optimistic: 31

Any one of these are possible, I just hope its over 27.

OO ok that makes sense Ivysaur, how do feel the curve will be?

would like 8-10 wrong on the math and reading sections result in 27,28?

Got a 29 w/o prep last time, so my goal this time was to get at least a 31.

Think I got it

Science- 27
Math- 30
Reading- 33-34
English 32-33

30.5-31

meh not that bad considering I didn’t really start prepping until friday.

guys is it normal to walk out thinking u did worse than practice tests?
