If that’s the case, too, then my HOPES are:

English w/ Writing: 29-30
Math: 30
Science: 30
Reading: I sucked hard on it so I probably got a 24 or 25… :(

@newaccount – good luck! If the curve is similar to what is predicted, I’ll probably be on the borderline too.

^^Reading is usually never +2 for a 36, I’ve only seen 1 case before of this happening (on the June 03 ACT). Then again, I didn’t take the June 10 ACT, but you still probably shouldn’t get your hopes up.

Reading is the ONLY subject I am very very scared about. Only because I only had 3 mins left to do the last passage and I felt very rushed throughout the entire Reading exam… I just hope it doesn’t affect my scores much.

sigh…one week left…

yes, reading hardly ever has a +1 curve, much less +2. In fact, it is sometimes -1 = 34.

…?

The three official practice tests (actually administered) have curves of:

-1 = 36

-1 = 36

-2 = 36

You couldn’t be more mistaken.

April 2010 Reading -1 was 35

The 3rd test in the Red Book was the June 03 ACT. I’ve never seen another +2 curve for Reading since then.

^ You haven’t looked hard enough.

The ACT Test for Students | ACT; - This test also has a +2 for reading. In fact, if the June ACT follows this curve, then I will have a 36. :p

^Oh you’re right, haha. Still, the older curves for Reading tend to be the more generous ones. I wish you luck on the June ACT curve. ;)

I’d be happy with a nice CR curve.

Wow. I never knew there were curves on the ACT. I thought the scoring was set in stone.

Here are my predictions

E:33
R:30 (terrible at reading)
M:33
S:35

Essay: haha probably a 6.

If you got a 6 on the essay, then your English ACT score will drop dramatically.

How much would a 7 or 8 drop (on the essay) drop my score?

If you got a 33:
7- 29
8- 30

what if i got a 30? would it drop my score all the way down to a 27?

I am so anxious for these scores!

If you got a 5.

someone told me essay score doesn’t affect our English score- -
