Was the June CR curve harsh?

I got an 800.

I got a 650. But I didn't do half a passage 'cus of time. I'd say it was pretty fair.

I got a 680, but I thought I did better. :-(

I thought it was harsh, or maybe just hard. My scores went down, but not by much 700->670 in June. Thank goodness for superscore, because my math and writing went up.

I got a 590, thought I did MUCH better. (Expected 650-670 ish)

I did better than I expected. I know I messed up a question on the vocab section, so I was surprised to get a 730 (rule of thumb: if you feel like you did perfect, subtract 3. If you think you got one wrong, subtract 4, and so on)

I think it's because of the abundance of fiction and personal narrative passages and the dearth of textbook-style academic passages. People who don't study find fiction easier to read than nonfiction, so the curve was harsh.

And for people like me who mastered academic passages, but abhor person narratives, it was like the trifecta of crapola. The last two QAS's I took before the test I scored 750 and 770 respectively, and the June SAT, 720. (Same crap happened with math: 740 then 750 theeeeeen 690.)

I got a 680....i mean i wish i would have gotten one more right...a 700 just sounds SOO much better!
AH!!

My score was 40 points lower than I was hoping for ( I though I might even manage a 800), and I got a 740. It;ll be easier to tell once score reports come out.

The curve is always harsh on the SAT. In February I got 5 wrong and it was 700 on CR, 4 wrong on math and it was 680.

I'm not sure. I personally thought it was easier than the March one but that's mostly because in March i messed up on the last section about politics which was uber hard for me. I got 5 questions wrong in that section and I missed a total of 6 which was a 700. In June, it was more personal narrative which was easier for me and i'm pretty sure i missed at least 1/2 questions but I still got an 800. the SAT is really a matter of luck so i guess it depends on the person. I hope that helps. The best way to find out is to wait till july 5.

Personally- I thought the curve/test section was easy. I got a 640 on the March one, and without any additional study, got a 690 on the June one. Was expecting about a 660.

I don't know, it may have just been that I was more rested.

I'm pretty sure that the curve was lenient because I know for sure that I missed a vocabulary question but I still got an 800.
