June Physics Curve

1 confirmed wrong, four omitted. All other questions, I had the same answer as everyone on CC. And I got an embarrassingly low score. Below 650.

Was the curve insane? Was it a bubbling error? I did really well on the other two tests I took, but I'm actually so angry I can't even tell you guys.

Yeah, you must’ve misbubbled :frowning: that stinks. because the curve is NEVER anywhere NEAR that harsh.

Well I feel like an idiot. Is there any chance of getting it rescored? It doesn’t seem likely, I mean, it was my **** up that caused this.

Do you know if the October test date can be sent to Early schools that release a decision in December?

It usually can. And honestly in your situation I would feel justified violating score choice policies.

@miaage I believe it depends on the school. For instance, Rice has this policy:
(Early Decision)
Last applicable SAT/SAT Subject test date: November 5, 2011
which would mean you have 2 more opportunities to take it again.
Just google your school of choice with “standardized testing” at the end, you should be able to get some hits.

I omitted 20 and probably got 5-10 wrong.
And I got a 700.
Because one of the things they always warn about is to be super-mega-ultra careful when bubbling, I doubt you could get it rescored. I agree with kamnn1; research the specific schools you’re interested in and retake it.
Sorry to hear about that, it stinks :/

Maybe you remembered incorrectly and missed quite a bit… Also, the answers listed on the Physics thread weren’t complete and could possibly be wrong.

No, I studied really hard for the test and got an A+ in my physics this year. I was really sure of my answers and I don’t think I remembered wrong.

If I mis-bubbled ~22 from the end of the test my score would make sense.

Okay. Well thanks for the support guys. Congrats on your scores.
