@ACTTester: I got a 790. I’m a bit saddened too. But we studied hard, and we got great scores. I would have been happier with an 800 because I excel in chemistry, but what can you do.

I’m still jumping up and down in my chair!

760…No clue how to feel.

770, which I have mixed feelings about. It’s a good score for not having taken AP Chem; I’m in IB and have only taken half of my IB Chem course (haven’t learned any orgo, redox rxns, nuclear chem, etc.) but I don’t know. I may want to major in chemistry later on, so it’s not as great as it could be. :/

@surname - Read princeton review. it’s short, has practice exercises, and gives you a feel of the test. It goes over basic skills, which is all you need on the test to get an 800 (you just need to avoid their tricks)

800!

I had a feeling, but it’s still exciting to see it!

580.
Fun.

I studied all I could though. My school didn’t have a lab component which seriously put me at a disadvantage. I might just retake later. :)

@IceyVeins: What do you mean by “were you 700+'s AP students?”?

800! YAY I felt it was easier than the practice papers I was doing, though my chemistry syllabus at school is wayy tougher. :D

^So lucky! The lab questions screwed me over, and I got a 790. Still happy though :)

Left two questions blank, and missed one or two questions on lab procedures, but I’ll take it. :P

Echhh 780… im still satisfied cuz i wanted at least 780 or higher… although if i didnt make those careless mistakes i couldve gotten 800 gonna try harder for math iic and physics!!! but still… 1/3 done!!!

i really don’t know how. I guessed on so many.

800 done with ALL SATS YEEE

@IceyVeins Taking AP Chem makes this test look like a joke after the AP exam, so I guess taking the class helps a lot. The prep books help, but it won’t ever replace a year of drilling things into your head.

Well, I’m done with my SATs now. It was more of a warmup after having taken the AP Chem exam and the US National Chem Olympiad National Exam.

Any correlation between AP exam score and SAT II score? I know the AP test was definitely harder than the SAT II, but are there ranges for the SAT II that match with the AP score? - Ex. 700-800 = 5?

Agree completely. I was very worried when I realized I wouldn’t be able to cram my entire PR book the evening before the test (I know, I’m bad), but as it turned out, my year of AP Chem took care of everything. 800.

After the test, I avoided this thread like the plague…I thought I’d see just every answer that was the opposite of mine regarded as the correct one -__- my fears were pointless though I guess :P

@ivy - 790 on the sat 2 and expecting a 4 on the ap exam. i really sucked on the fr but the mult. choice was easy imo.

780
I’m glad :)
