VeryPractical: No, I did not have to take AP Chem just to get an 800. I meant that after being in my AP Chem class the subject test became very easy. In fact, my teacher said anyone could get an 800 on it after just taking a first year of honors chemistry.

Hmm…maybe try the AP Exam prep book? I also have the PR AP Chem book and although I didn’t find it much of a help for the AP exam, maybe thats what helped me on the SAT II - I didn’t really do anything in class, so I’d say the majority of the questions I got right were because of either princeton review book.

In my opinion, this years sat2 chem was alot easier than the practice tests in the barron’s prep book i had… i thought i wouldve got a 4 on the ap exam, but i guess b/c it was hard, the curve was large.

note: im ap chem student, and my teacher teaches stuff way beyond ap level =o. so my class is quite hard

i actually thought it was the opposite. the ap chem felt super easy while the sat ii felt harder. the sat ii is more specific, if you ask me.
5 on ap exam 770 on ii
