Any early prediction as to what the curve for the June exam will be?

I'm not really optimistic about it. this is suposed to be the easy test!!!!!!!!!!

if you missed one question that was a grid in, which is basically the same thing as omitting one question, could you still get an 800 on the math?

I think so.
yes... you can still get an 800..

No probably not. The math was pretty easy. I'd say one wrong would be around 780.

but if the math was easy that means that more people would get high scores and you could get an 800 like that.
and even if you r right, it would be 790 not 780...

I thought there was supposed to be a nice curve on this one... :(

the math was easy, but there were many tricky questions. The curve is not determined by the test takers i think 1 wrong is either 790 or 800 50% chance no lower. 2 wrong like 780,770 3 wrong 750

backfire sounds about right...

-4 is usually about 720, to add on.

curve is not determined by test takers' scores.....than how is it determined?

it's predetermined based on difficult of test, no. of testtakers, etc.

no its not. its determined based on performance on the experimental sections during past tests. They add that extra section in the test for a reason.

yea, the distribution of 200-800 scores needs to remain regular-- in other words, the percentiles need to remain the same, so I can't see how our performance doesn't influence it. ~7% always score about 700+ and 23% or so should always be 600+.

I'm just sayin', our performance on Saturday had nothing to do with the curve, although past performances by others does.

Why would they not just conform the scores to the bell curve after they compiled comprehensive results?

My tutor said the curve is determined after the exam based on the results.

I'm so nervous... please don't discuss about the score or the curve. You will know it when you see it. C'mon.

i hope the curve is like the january 1...not like the may or april ones

I heard that in Jan., 1 wrong in Math was an 800. No way that'll happen this time around.

That's unlikey, but I wouldn't totally rule it out. You guys are overestimating the abilities of an average HS student.
