June Sat Curve???

This time was WAY too easy for -1 to be 800.
But that's just my opinion.

Most likely curve:

54 800
53 780
52 760
51 740
50 720
49 710
48 700

IF -1 = 800, the curve would probably look like:

54 800
53 800
52 770
51 750
50 740
49 720
48 710
49 700 or 690.

I want my scores now...

I took the SAT once before...and scored fairly low. Personally (2020).

This one was my last-ditch attempt to do better and help a college see that I am a fantastic candidate! If I did worse- ach well w/e...thought this was easier than the one I took June of last year- but thats probably because I had to pound through AP Calc AB this year and learn concepts to the core.

Writing was so-so...liked the topic from last year :-D

Critical reading- wasn't too hard
Math: Not hard at all (watch me get a 600 from over-confidence :/- sigh)
Writing: Meh.

For the one I took last time- I got 4-5 wrong each section...the curve was fairly steep.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=209209&page=2&highlight=June+Curve

That's the June 2006 Test. Seems awfully similar in difficulty.
Apparently -1 = 790.

Hmmmm interesting. We'll see when scores come out. ^-^ Anyway, I'm pretty sure I didn't get any Math questions wrong at all, unless I did something stupid somewhere.

Math: It was easy really. I'm really weak in Math, so I practiced a lot - t'was all good.

Critical Reading: I HATED IT. HATEHATEHATE. I BARELY practiced with the passages because of Math..and I got an extra Critical Reading Section!

Writing: Ehh..it was alright. The Identifying Sentence Errors pushed me off though (I hate those!). I'm actually pretty good in writing too..maybe it was my lack of concentration or maybe I was just nervous.

Essay: Thank God, it was an easy topic (happiness!). I just didn't finish on time. .-.

My other huge weakness when it came to the SAT that day was time management. I've heard time and again that you shouldn't spend too much time on any one question - my brain is just too stubborn to move! When I can't get a question, I stay on it for a couple more seconds before moving to the next one!

This was my first time taking the SAT, so I'll see how it goes. I'm going to be taking it again the second time this fall, God willing.

sob Six more days until my scores come out. I'm doomed.

I'm hoping to atleast get an 11 on the essay... I got a stupid 10 last time.

I hope -1 on math can be 800 like everyone else... but CB rarely does that. ==;

For CR, -3 = 800 would be great. That would mean 2250+ for moi!

haha aquamarinee those are both BEST case scenarios for CR and M. I doubt that'll happen, but hey it's possible!

-3=800 would be amazing. Has that ever happened before? (I'm assuming -3 means -3 questions which is actually -4 raw points)

that's true...I don't omit so i couldn't get a -3 raw. If you get 3 wrong, that's a -4 which definitely won't be an 800

predict score?
Can anyone give estimate...

-5 on math
-14 on CR
-10 on writing with 10 essay.

Give or take 30 points for CR and W--

Math:

-5 questions = -6 points = 700

CR:

-14 questions = -18 points = 630

W:

-10 questions = -13 points with 10 Essay = 650
