This is the official discussion thread for the writing section.

To help future takers, what is your estimated score, what books did you use and find helpful, and any tips for those taking in October?
For October takers, I personally like the Grammar section in Barron's SAT 2400. And you should already have the Blue Book [note: I scored 2340 in May]

Yes neivivloh the 2nd was experimental, the real one was about “cats and purring …blah blah…”
Does anybody remember an A-E-E-A ((the very last section, questions 1-4)) ?

YES !! Alot of A’s and E’s !! Number 10 and 11 were A’s ((right?)) and the last one I made it B ! PLEASE SAY ‘B’ IS RIGHT !! If yes, I’m expecting a high score in Writing !

Well I’m not an answer key…
but yes a lot of A’s and E’s don’t really remember 10 and 11 sorry
and last one was B pretty sure because I confirmed with people afterwards

Did you get No Error for the 35 q section, for [___] before american civil war, it was before the chinese emperor one.

for the american civil war …well i cant remember exactly the right sentence sorry…but wait …can i ensure …how many “No Errors” have you got in the Error ID ? I got 3 i guess.
and please remind me of questions …the civil rights one

Yeah, I was reading the June 2010 American test and it was basically word for word the international test today. Too bad I didn’t see that thread BEFORE taking the test…
