June SAT II U.S. History Discussion!

Discuss all related topics here.

Haven’t started studying yet.

But Direct Hits will save my ass one last time in two days especially since I took my first practice test an hour ago and scored 750.

I REALLY wish that I had direct hits.

My Son is taking the next US History SAT…What is " Direct Hits"? Thanks in advance!

[Amazon.com: Direct Hits US History in a Flash: for the AP and SAT II (9781936551040): Larry Krieger, Ted Griffith: Books](http://www.amazon.com/Direct-Hits-US-History-Flash/dp/1936551047/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1307070403&sr=8-3)
I highly recommend it

Gonna read the last 20 chapters of DH and do some practice MC questions tomorrow. Hopefully it will suffice…

Got a 680 on a sparknotes test… D= time to hit the books again…

How is the curve on the US History test? Because DH says that people have reported that the curve is much harsher than -10=800

@serenen: Sparknotes tests are generally harder than the real thing. If you made a 680 on a Sparknotes test, you should make 710+ tomorrow. :)

I’m studying today using Direct Hits. Hopefully it will be enough.

Took APUSH this year, exam was a walk in the park, guaranteed 5. Also never gotten below a 100 on practice Regents. I worry not for this exam.

Plus the curve is very generous. 82/90 is an 800.

The curve is not as lenient as it ussed to be. I dont think 82/90 is an 800 anymore.

I thought 80/90 was a 800. Ahh I keep getting 710 on sparknotes. I better get a 800…

What do you guys think the answer to this question would be?

The defeat of which Native American leader
made William Henry Harrison’s presidential
ambitions possible?
(A) The Prophet
(B) Tecumseh
(C) Cochise
(D) Chief Joseph
(E) Blue Jacke

im going to start studying now, seriously im relying on my ap studies of a month back

anyone guess the answer to my question?

I would guess Tecumseh but not sure. Where is this question from?

I agree with ezra. I think it’s Tecumseh o-O

Btw, who is Chief Joseph?

It’s from Peterson’s sat ii, which is FREAKING me out. Wanna kno the answer? Its The Prophet, because apparently Tecumseh wasn’t “in town” on that day.

Anyone tried that book? Here’s the link: http://www.photos-n-stuff.com/wp-content/uploads/SAT-II-History.pdf

Wanna tell me if these questions are ridiculously hard?

it has 4 practice tests :)

How well does USH in a Flash do on the SAT II?
