June SAT Math II Thread

@somestudent it was .4something

.45 just checked again

was this test hard enough for 43/50 raw to =800?

can someone compile, even the easy questions?

the bacteria one was 26. You substitute 0 for y and solve for the variable then multiply by 1.17

@cortana i agree again

@grojos @somestudent
radians. HAHA. right. I was thinking 1.57 degrees… wow I’m an idiot. I think I made the same mistake on the actual test and ended up omitting the question b/c I couldn’t come up with any of the 5 answer choices :P

Did the interval for the ln(sin(x))=0 question INCLUDE pi/2?

I got 26 too, but why do you multiply by 1.17?

Because it had a doubling time of 1.17 hours

the variable in the equation was the number of times the population doubles and 1.17 is the amount of time it takes for the population to double. so you multiply n by 1.17.

What is the curve? I omitted 4 and ~5 wrong…

Lol, I thought it said it doubled every hour, and I got 22.3, but 26 was still the closest.

Everone, pray to god that the curve is 43/50 = 800. please.

I put 9.4 for the chord question :confused: i’m guessing that’s wrong. RATS. i thought it was easy. I already got that stupid tany=? wrong.

@Stonesn, I’ll do you one better and pray that 42/50 = 800 so long as you pray that whatever I got is >750. x.x

@800math800 No, that’s why I think it’s undefined. The given domain was 0 < x < pi/2

@Ningafro

Dude I need a >750! As long as I get that…it doesn’t even matter what the curve is!

they showed a picture of a graph with x intercept at 2, what is the x intercept of f(x+2). that was zero i believe

Nothing to do but wait. Omitted 1. Predicting 780 on both US and Math 2

@Everyone here

Don’t you think this test was easier but tricker…like the SAT I?
