I don’t remember any restrictions on the ln(sinx)=0 problem either. It seems a little cruel, even for CollegeBoard’s standards, to set that restriction as just solving the equation itself was probably one of the harder questions on the test.

no I know, what i’m saying is that the restriction of 0<x<pi/2 was ONLY on the sin 2x<sinx question, NOT the ln(sin(x)) question, so you may be mixing up the 2 questions. are you 100% sure that there was a restriction on the ln problem? I swear I dont remember seeing it…

@eobaggs how did this test compare to those in the collegeboard math book?

@lordfarquaad: For the test where a 44-50 is an 800, I got a 42.75 and that is what I am projecting I got on this test. So, I would say that is the most likely curve. But again, this is just a projection.

Thanks eobaggs!

does anyone remember if there was a restriction on the ln(sin(x))=0 question?

does anybody remember the question about root3 and -root2 being zeros of something. i remember plugging in answer choices and one was clearly the answer

@grojos the answer was -0.32 (rad2 - rad3)

^ The question had like a polynomial with missing coefficients or something, rite? I think i got the same answer as you.

We need a consolidated list D;<

…So make one.
There’s already one with 36 problems on page 49.

oh didnt see that one, thank you

even if there was a restriction i don’t remember seeing und as an answer choice?

*undefined (ln question)

@scrub was -2.4something an option? i think i remember that

some of the answers on that list were definetely incorrect tho (on page 49)
like ln(x) = undefined
lake county was 0.32
and wasnt the regression 5.2??

@grojos i dont recall what the answers were

@james the regression was 4.9, lake county was .32, and ln(x) was .45

Here is the consolidated list from page 49.

For what it’s worth, I’m pretty sure #36 asked what would happen if the entire graph moved to the left two spots. I may be wrong though…

^Yeah you’re right about 36

disagreed with 22. it should be .32
for 9, y = x^2.6, logy = (2.6)(logx)
36, i believe that the new x intercept was 0, since you move it to the left 2 units.
13, sinx = k/(square root of 4+k^2)

EDIT: you forgot 1/(absolute value of x-2), which was probably -3.56 or something like that

its amazing how we remembered basically the entire test…if we can all try to remember the 14 other questions not mentioned yet, we can all figure out our scores which would be nice, especially for those thinking about canceling.

these are the ones i remember that were not mentioned yet:
-question about f(g(x))=x and asking for f(x)
-the other cylinder question
-inequality x-values were -5<x<0

if anyone remembers the answers to these questions and/or other questions, please post them so we can get all 50!
