June SAT predictions

Share your predictions on the score you want to/ think you'll make and discuss how harsh you think the curve will be.

I predict an 180 for me (low for cc, I know)
CR; 670
W; 630
M; 580 (I am really worried about the math section)

I pray that since it's the summer time their will be a more lenient curve

The curve depends on the content of the test, not how students perform on the test day.

Hoping for a 2200 superscore.

^ Same. My main and goal is to bring my 670 CR to a 700 and 700 math to a 770+, hopefully 800. I rlly dont care about writing, since I already have a 700 on it and colleges prolly dont rlly care about it.

Same situation pretty much (you have a 2070 and I have a 2080 :p). Already got my 760 writing. My CR + M are both high 600s and I want to get them to low-mid 700s.

Hoping for mid 700s in M and CR (that’s what I’ve been getting on the practice tests…hope it holds up).
And as long as I get a 650+ in Writing, I’ll be good to go.

Good luck everyone

Need to raise, Math -_-

And Writing, and try not to freak out like last time.

…oh and I’m going to go to bed at 10 on Friday this time, not 2:30 like I did last time

My guesses?

Math: 600+
CR: 540+
W: 550+

Hopefully a 1700 or higher…

Anyone know what the June SAT curve is usually like?

I really want someone to answer ironturtle’s question.

I would think that it would be harder because only the really motivated kids take it during the summer…but I could be wrong (I hope im wrong :X)

^

The curve is predetermined. The group of students taking the June test will have absolutely no effect on the curve.

Just curious… how do they predetermine it?

Why does the BB have score ranges for its practice tests then? I thought there were ranges because the scale of the test is determined by the performance of the test-takers. If the scale of the test was predetermine CB shouldn’t have put ranges for its BB practice tests.

Those tests were never actually administered.

I’m shooting for 760+ on all three sections.

Right now I sit at
R - 750
W - 670
M - 740

I didn’t know about a potential curve! With a little bit of luck I may break 2300. :D

Math: 770-800 depending on stupid mistakes
CR: 720-770 depending on the curve
Writing: 800

I hope to god this will be my last SAT and that I get above a 2300.

NewAccount

If the score is predetermined BEFORE the test is administered (ie, not actually administered), then why wouldn’t the BB tests be scored?

He asked if it was predetermined before the test was actually administered or not. If so, then actually administering the test wouldn’t make a difference, and the BB tests would be scored.

Current: (800 W) + (710 M) + (650 R) = 2160
Aiming for:
No change on Writing
740+ Math
700+ Reading
2250+ Total (superscored if I don’t get another 800 on W)
