YAY.... 720 cr 730 math 730 writing (74, 9)...up from a 1320 in jan....lol

i had a dream that i got a 280 on 1C ... but then i got a 680 on the real thing ... ehhh was kinda going for the 700 break

Math = 800
CR = 750
Writing = 640 (?)

I didn't do any prep... is this worth some essay prep and a quick retake in the fall?

harvard...on the FAQ says that it will accept either the old or new sat...

yale basically says it will combine if necessary...
Note: Applicants graduating from high school in 2006 are encouraged to take the new SAT. However, we will accept scores from either the old or the new SAT (or both).

so if you consider that yale is combining it is pretty reasonable to predict that harvard will as well...

Maybe Harvard would refuse to combine just to spite Yale.

SAT IIs:

Math IIc: 800
World History: 800
Chemistry: 760 (what!? Chem is my best subject)

darn't:

Math IIC: 710

CR 770
Math 760
Writing 680 :(

Okay. Here's what NOT to do on the SAT II Biology test. Finish the test with the M section with 20 minutes to spare. Find that you have a question you're not sure about in the M section, so you try to do the entire E section without CHECKING the rest of your test first. Do the E section, and find that there are more things you don't know on the E section. Carelessly miss a stupid osmosis question. Don't get an 800 probably just by one question. Sigh. Sad world.

what is the biology curve? I got a 770.

if you haven't done so already, please post new SAT comparisons (e.g., March vs June) to this thread:

Miss one or two is an 800 probably.

I woud like to curse profanely in this forum, but I will restrain myself.

damn..so i must have missed alot...

i thought the most i missed was around 4 or 5

all im gonna say is my writing DROPPED and it definatly shouldnt have!!! IM SO UPSET!

sither...yale actually says it even more directly on the following link:

http://www.yale.edu/admit/faq/applying.html

"For students who will graduate high school in 2006, we encourage you to take the new SAT, though we will accept scores from the old SAT as well. We will continue to consider the highest score you receive on any individual test, even if one score was from the old SAT and one was from the new SAT."

I believe HYPMS will also combine because if Yale combines, then their scores will be inflated and it will make harvard/princeton/mit/stanford look bad in comparison...also, harvard does say (even tho it is not together) that they will take the highest scores from ANY administration of the test...also, collegeboard seems to let them do it by saying scores are comparable...

that said, i am still a little worried; can someone plz call...??

Critical Reading 660
Math 700
Writing 630 (6! on the essay)
Total: 1990

So relieved that i finally got it. still pondering and probably will retake it.

oops... now i know why i felt so weird after the test esp for the CR ...

CR 630 (OMG... i dont know what happened)
M 800
WR 770 (78,9)
Total 2200... sucks...

Damn... damn... damn...

where do you get your MC score and your essay score? When I clicked view my score report it said check back after 25th

Subject Tests:

Math II - 710
Chem - 760
US History - 760

I'll take it, especially considering I suck at math and was expecting something lower.
