Lit: 690
Spanish: 780

Retaking the SAT in October, and doing Math II in November, should I retake Lit in November as well or try another subject?

US history- 780
Lit- 700 -____-
Math 2- 650 (digs head in hole)

World history- 770 (thank goodness for all the Eastern Europe questions).
Math 2- 680 (this time was a retake for a 750 so meh).
Spanish- 660 (probably going to do the Spanish w/ listening in November. Does that have a good curve?)

770-chem
760-math 2
760-physics
I’m a little bummed about math but physics made up for it since I literally guessed on more than half of the test! Congrats everyone on the great scores!!!

No schools require all SAT subject tests, right?

I got a 690 on Math 2 which is very low considering I was expecting over a 750. Should I retake it and when? And how should I prepare?

@Hawkace no not all schools do, but depending on where you want to apply, all the big ones do.

I am a rising junior and I got:
800 Chem
780 Spanish

What other tests should I take next year out of Math II, Bio, and US History? I feel that I can do a really good job on the first two, but don’t want to overload with math/science. Any suggestions?

800 on math ii and 800 on world history. SO DISAPPOINTED! Jkjk
Generous curve on world history FTW! :)

@adttee yes, you should retake it. prepare by doing more practice, that is all. it has a very generous curve

Math 2: 800

Chen: 800 (previous sitting)

@MrWiggles any suggestions for books? I think I used Barron’s and Princeton’s, so any other good ones?

800 Math 800 Physics 790 Chemistry

Very very happy! Especially about physics as I thought I screwed up the 4 circular questions with the weights and the periods, like a rotational pendulum thingy.

Are anyone else’s scores “not available”? The view and send scores button replaced the “scores arriving soon” but when I click it, my scores haven’t come yet.

@socman noooooo you’re so wrong, lol. Getting an 800 on math 2 doesn’t mean “nothing is detracted,” holy man. College admissions don’t work on the basis of finding things to “detract,” it’s in fact the other way around. Admissions people want to seek out the positives. An 800 on math 2 is a huge help. You’re silly to tell someone to retake a 770, brother.

710 USH

Does a 710 US History benefit my application to the top tier schools at all? I have an 800 M2 and planning Physics in October, so should I even send this score (assuming I score well on Physics)?

Do any of you have tips for chem and math II?

Math II - 780
Lit - 590 (looool)
Physics - 670

Good news is I got a 720 Lit and 730 Physics test from January. I can score choice that 780 up in there and now I’m more than satisfied with my scores :)

Sayonara obnoxious subject tests looming over me!!!

@ckoepp127 I checked this thread again and saw your comment… What do you think about a 770 for Maths2? I was convinced of retaking it … and I think I could get a 800 next time?

@jyolyu only retake for personal benefit, not if you think it’ll make a difference.
