730 on bio(m)…I will retake it on Oct. with chem and math2

Lol Ihave to find my College Board password first to look up my scores. But according to Schrodoinger’s Cat this means I have every score between 800 and 200 (or whatever the lowest score is) right?

800 Math2, 760 WH. WH worth retaking (especially considering that I’m applying to georgetown school of foreign service)?

Chemistry - 740 (AP Chemistry)
Literature - 780 (AP English Literature)
Math II - 800 (AP Calculus BC)

760 on both World and U.S., I ain’t even mad

@Runner as someone who has newly discovered her 780 in physics… yes ;)

Those who did extremely well in Physics… how do you recommend I study without having the course? Would Barron’s/Kaplan be enough? And what is the curve on the test generally?

750 Math II
640 French

Fine with math, but does anyone have any tips for French when I retake it later this year?

US: 750
WH: 740

A tad disappointed with both, but it should suffice to get past the two subject test requirement in most schools. Will those scores hurt my chances of being admitted into upper level colleges?

Matthew5: I used princeton review for physics. People commonly recommend it for the SAT physics subject test over the others.

Math Level 2: 800
Chemistry: 800
Physics: 800
I am very happy with the result :D

*My only concern is that when I check the national percentile for these subjects, those 800s don’t even qualify you for the 95 percentile, meaning that a perfect score is not “perfect enough (99 percentile)”.

Math 2: 800
US: 700
Will probably retake US or take another when taking my French this fall.

@bravemongoose. The percentiles don’t really matter as your universities won’t see them. Only you will when your detailed score report comes out. All the universities will see is an 800, and for all they know you could’ve been barely past the cut-off or the top test taker in the country in your subject test.

Math 2: 800
Physics: 800
US History: 780
I’m sure I could get an 800 on chemistry, but I wanted to show colleges that I can manage topics aside from math and science. Would it be worth it to take the chemistry subject test if I’ve already taken the AP chemistry test?

800 Math 2
750 Physics

@Matthew, I didn’t study for the subject test but I took AP Physics B, so I had studied a lot for the AP Exam using Princeton Review’s AP Physics book

Yeah but we take AP Physics B as seniors at my high school… so I won’t have the course before the exam.

@Metternich: an 800 in SATII Chem would look great, regardless of whether you also take the AP chem test, IMO. It’s easier to get a 5 than an 800.

@Harrovian: Thank you very much for the reply :)

Indeed, the percentage of student getting 5 in AP Chem is nearly double that of getting 800 in SAT2 Chem.
