June SAT VS October SAT

Hello all!

I took the SAT in March and got an 1890 (670/620/600/8) from reading PR and doing little to no actual practice. I was planning on getting the CB blue book this summer and doing practice tests and the like and taking the SAT again in October and hopefully scoring a 2100+ [is this even doable?]--but someone told me that I was likely to do better on the June SAT than on the October SAT. Should I try to take the June SAT instead, or is waiting until October a better decision for me? Also, I still need to take my Subject Tests, something I was planning on doing in June. Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

I don’t quite understand why someone would tell you that you would do better on the June SAT. Unless the SAT is when school is out (so you have a little to study), the test should be very similar to the October test. It might even be harder for you!

Lolol at my school the rumor is octobr is when all the failed seniors take it so it has the bettr curve

If you take subject tests along with SAT, the number of hours you spend taking the test can impact your performance.

You can’t take Subject Tests on the same day as the SAT, though…

They are offered on the same day. Are you saying you can only take one or the other on that day?

Edit

You are correct.

It is more advisable to take subject tests before the subject is forgotten, especially something like history.
