I took it for the first time; this June was the end of my sophomore year.
I got a 2240- 800 CR, 760 Writing, 660 Math.
I really messed up the math :(
I'm really disappointed because I usually got at least above 700 on practice tests for math, even though it's my weak point.
UGHHHHH looks like I'll be retaking it this October.

My bad, that makes it a 2220^

Darn you beat me to it! I was going to make a joke - no wonder your math was comparatively lower - haha!

Considering you’re a sophomore, you have plenty of time to raise your math score. Math is also the easiest of the three sections to learn (it’s hard to learn how to read passages closely) since you can identify and drill concepts. Make a goal of hitting 750 in Math and work toward it.

How did you get an 800 in CR and give me W tips

I am going to be a senior & graduating in 2013, have GPA of 4.5(AP weight) with 5’s in all APs. My SAT scores are not great though 680CR/750Math/640W and my SAT subject scores in Chem/Bio/Math !! are 800/790/800 respectively. My ACT composite score is 33. Can I even think of applying for ivy league colleges for a biology major or premed course.

I’m a little disappointed. I got a 710 in CR, 790 in M, and 710 in W. I really thought I did much better on the CR and W, at least 740-750 range. But my composite is 2210, which is fine with me. The most selective school I’m applying to is UPenn and I’m hoping my ECs and 3.95 UW GPA and 1st in class will boost my app.

Gajraj. Of course you can man. A 33 ACT is above the 25% at almost every school. There’s a lot more to admissions than one test. I mean, our salutatorian did poorly on standardized tests this year (2020 SAT) and got into Brown, so it’s not impossible.

Thanks und3rcover
