I want to major in political science/ international relations and eventually I'd like to go to law school with a focus in international law. My list is as follows: GEORGETOWN, University of VA, Brown , Berry College, UNC-at chapel hill, Boston University, American University and New College of Florida Do I need another safety school (besides Berry?)

For Georgetown, you have an OK shot, but not that great. Your ACT score puts you just above the lower 25%, but your class rank is very good, and will help you alot. You have good ECs, but you need to just increase your ACT or do well on your SATS (1300+)

For UVa, you have a small shot because you are out of state, and your ACT score is not very good as compared to their out of state avg, which most likely is 30+

for UNC, it is the same as UVa, but if you did not apply EA, you have even a smaller chance, unless you can boost your scores..

For the rest, I would say you have a decent chance.

good luck!

To be honest, I think you have a good shot at all the schools that you apply to. If I were you, I would send in the ACT results because that should place you in the middle 50% of those generally accepted, but I am just using numbers. You should not apply to georgetown EA. I would recommend regular decision because it is less competitive than EA.

I'd say you have good shots for all of them, except UVA out of state is a little random sometimes. Try to get good standarized test scores. Remember, you're only a Junior.
