Thanks for your imput!

if youre a california resident

UCB- slight reach (i think because rank is outside top 5%, but i dont really know that much about UC admissions)
UCLA- match/slight reach (same as above)
JHU- match/very slight reach
CMU- same as above
WashU- same
Stanford- reach
UPenn- reach

i think you have a good shot at all of these schools, except maybe stanford and upenn, since they are very unpredictable.

i had a similar rank and the same M/CR SAT score, except mine was math heavy (790/710), and i got into Hopkins and waitlisted at WashU, didnt apply to CMU

UCLA: Match/Safe Match
UC Berkeley: Match/Safe Match
Carnegie Mellon: Match
JHU: Match
Washington U: Match
Stanford: Reach (but it is for everyone)
UPenn: Match/Slight reach (again, this is true for everyone)

In at Cal and UCLA, your SATs are high for them and they love that. Stanford probably not, Penn 50/50.

I forgot to mention that im a californian resident and i'm an Asian male, if that changes anything.

AznN3rd:

UCB/UCLA: Match

any um..y'know, VALUABLE ec's? I mean, everybody has clubs..

what do you mean by valuable?

well, clubs are so generic, and (at my school at least) NOTHING gets done in them.. Now the clubs at my school are counted for the same amount as the clubs at your school..with such a large discrepency, you can't expect them to be worth a lot.

Go find something else!

Do Reasearch or lab work

people at my school, which isnt particularily hard, have gotten into ucb and ucla with worst stats

(im in CAlifornia)

In at UCB and UCLA.
