between the two situations, which one would you choose.

say you're applying this fall to a UC (lets say berkeley or los angeles)
and you have 5 pre-reqs to take (and you've taken 4 of them, all A's)

would you rather...

a) Take the last pre-req in the fall knowing there is a pretty good chance you'll get a B in the class (hard and demanding teacher)?

b) Wait until winter to take the class (better teacher teaching in winter)? higher chance of getting the A. Also grade trends = 15 consecutive A's

gpa is high 3.8-low 3.9s

which one do you think would increase your chances or getting accepted to the universities?

it's the same class, just taught by two different professors. fall = impossible to get an A...winter = more likely. i only ask because i know everyone stresses how one must finish their pre-reqs before they apply.

i have two b's from many years ago when i was taking ccc classes during my high school years. since then everything has been pretty smooth...i'm just worried since this is a pre-req class and i don't want a B in it (and if i did get a B, obviously i woudln't want it to affect my admission)

HAHAHA, no seriously, I went crazy overthinking things when I was applying to UCLA/UCB. I'm just trying to relay it to you guys that its not worth it. Enjoy CC while you can because the stress to get into grad school is a real biatch.

so it looks like you're heading over to ucb? wanna check my stats later and tell me what you think my chances are? i'm also applying to a few privates as well but i think i need to retake the sats' (had a REALLY solid score when i took it in hs)
