I am tired of looking at my horrible SAT score (1060) on my college transcript and want to take it again. I know it doesn't mean anything right now and the SAT was a horrible way of predicting my success in college ( I have a 3.81 gpa right now, received a 29 on the ACT).

Well, then go ahead and take it again. If you can handle college work, then I don’t see why you can’t do well on the SAT, since it’s algebra 2, writing, and reading.

if u want to take it again, just take it. not that it really matters

Yeah. You can. Anyone can take the SAT. The question is why would you want to put yourself through that grueling 4 hours and spend money to do so?

it might be worth it, if u pull up ur grades, and u’ll certainly feel better =]

take it again! u really do improve the more you take it (but i was advised not to take it more than 3 times) i did my best on my last one too…

if money is the issue than try to take it one more time in senior year… the stuff i learned in jr year really helped like apush (which helped in the essay writing) and the math stuff.. (esp my graphing calculator… saved soooo much time and energy) besides by u taking it again u already have the gist how to allocate your time and what u need to work on. for me grammar helped a lot and it was easier to study in a short amount of time..

lalala good luck! i suggest you investing on an SAT book =) u can get a good one for around 20 dollars

He is a junior in college, not one in high school.

I do not think that you should take it, because it would not accurately portray your abilities. A college student that gets a 2200+ is no way as good as a high school student that gets that same score. You have had 4 more years of education than everyone else that is taking the test, so getting an above average score should not be difficult, nor should it be something to be proud of.

If you feel like it, just do it.

I think that it’ll be a great confidence booster for you!

Take the GRE.

+1

good gre>good sat

if you really want to, i would take the SAT the last time it is available your senior year in college, to see how far you’ve come since then through your college education. I think that would be kinda cool to see. but otherwise i wouldnt take it if i didnt do it at the end of college.
or just take the gre
