I am a Junior in high school.

In my freshmen year, I wasn't a motivated kid. Now that I look back, I was promoted with 2 A's ,1 B and 2 C's.
In my sophomore year, i was ranked number 2 in my grade, and of course got straight A's. In my sophomore year, i was truly fascinated with music. I played cello for 8 years, play trumpet in my school band, play guitar as a worship leader in my church youth group, play piano at a amateur level and just started learning drums. As a cellist, I have won many awards and is currently in my city youth Orchestra and a volunteer player in a lower level orchestra. Oh I forgot to mention that I am the president of my youth group in my church.

Anyways, this all started out as a bet.
Noticing how lazy and unmotivated I was, my friends made a bet w/ me that I could never get accepted into an ivy league school. Now, i hated losing, so in my sophomore year, i turned myself around and worked at my full potential. But, the more I researched about these ivy league schools, the more I was fascinated by them. A group of intellectuals from all over the country in one single school...
But the only thing that actually made me think that I need to goto an ivy league school was watching a group of business majors from Harvard play a duet song called "Falling Slowly" on their guitars. After their performance, I had a chance to talk to the guys and I was truly awed and amazed how laid-back and motivated these guys were. They shared that many people in Harvard are better musicians than themselves and are not fine-arts major. So I swore to myself that I HAVE to goto HARVARD...
Now that i'm a junior, I'm wondering if my mistakes in my Freshmen year will affect my chances in getting into an ivy league school..

Even if this post sounds like crap...please....i beg you to give me answers and advices on what I can do, and if my mistakes in the past will affect my chances...

Thank you.
