As second semester approaches, I'm starting to think about what schools I might want to look at. I'm interested in engineering. I'm not sure exactly what type, but I know it won't be anything with the prefix "bio" :)

Stats:
*From California (Bay Area)
*Competitive private high school
*White; fairly high income (won't need FA)
*Female (which my help with getting into schools for engineering slightly, from what I've heard?)
*GPA is probably between 3.75 and 3.8 UW; my school doesn't do weighted.
*My school also doesn't rank, but they do give deciles for GPA with the school profile. Assuming my class is about average for the deciles, I would be in the top 10-20% decile.
*I'm taking the SAT in January, but my PSAT score was 212. I didn't study, so I'm hoping I can improve at least a little for the SAT.
*My main EC is ballet - I train in a pre-professional program, so it's a very big commitment (6 or 7 days/week; minimum 3 hours/day or so). I also volunteer a local, underprivileged elementary school and study Conversational Hebrew, but basically ballet takes up all my time. The past summer, I attended a fairly prestigious ballet program. I am applying to Smith's Summer Science and Engineering Program this summer, so I am hoping to do that for part of the summer.

Here are some schools that interest me, though I'm not set on any on of them, really:
*Smith College (their engineering program is really appealing to me)
*Purdue
*UIUC
*Cal Poly SLO
*Harvey Mudd College
*WUSTL

If anyone could suggest some schools and maybe describe what you think would be a safety/match/reach, that would be great!
