Junior -- Not sure how I've gotten in my situation

Hello! I am currently a junior in high school, and in a precarious situation; my GPA is low while my ACT score is exceedingly well. How much will this do to my chances out of state? I am a caucasian male and want to go into aerospace engineering btw.

GPA-
unweighted: ~3.25 (hopefully closer to ~3.5 at the end of this year and higher by end of senior)

ACT Score-
34 (should get to 35 or 36 at the start of senior year)

AP’s-
Currently taking- US History, Language and Composition, Biology, & Statistics
Will take- Physics 1, Computer Science, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Calculus AB, Literature, & US Government

EC’s-
Chess team 3x years (captain this past year)
Quiz bowl team 3x years (co-captain this past year)
Mock Trial 2x years (founder first year, then lead attorney next)
Mu Alpha Theta 1x years (founding member, should be president next year)
Orchestra/Marching band 7x years (principle trombone/section leader past year, 3x all-state qualifier but never made it)
Active Thespian troupe member (recently lead role, should be national honor thespian or around there by the time I graduate)
–prospective-- Class President (Very likely to be given how ours is selected)
Award winning/festival shown videographer
Will attend Arkansas Boy’s State (where I’ll try to be elected governor), Arkansas Governor’s School (in the mathematics field), and will also aim to attend Boy’s Nation
Currently in the process of becoming an intern at a local engineering firm

Prospective Schools-
REACH-- MIT, Cornell, & UC Berkley
Middle-- Boston University, John Hopkin’s, & USC
Safety-- University of Arkansas

Hopkins engineering is not a match. A 3.25 GPA means essentially no chance at MIT, Cornell, Berkeley OOS, Hopkins and probably USC. I’d make a new list. You can keep all of these schools if you really want to but understand you have incredibly low chances at many of them due to that GPA. If you like Boston University a lot you can probably get in ED, since your ACT is really high and you have good EC’s. If you have a 3.25 through 5 semesters and get a 4 for the next semester you’ll have a 3.375 for schools you apply early to, and if you submit your first semester senior grades and have a 4 your GPA will be a 3.464. Keep these potential numbers in mind when you’re making your list (just remember that you need to get straight A’s to hit these numbers). Good luck!
