<p>I'm wondering if my junior schedule is too easy if I am going to apply to selective colleges?</p>

2-Honors Orchestra
3-AP European History
4-Intensive Honors English 5
5-Honors Anatomy and Physiology
6-Honors Chinese 3
7-AP Physics B</p>

<p>2 APs isn’t very good, so I would recommend self studying a few. Also, pre-calculus Junior year isn’t good for top schools (HYP).</p>
<p>Well, it depends what the opportunities are to take difficult classes at your school. If your schedule is the hardest possible course load that your school offers, than you’re good. If it’s not up to that standard, then you’ll have to work a lot harder on other parts of your application. </p>
<p>At my school, a lot of juniors take 4+ AP classes, but if your school doesn’t offer APs or IBs, I think it’s okay. Keep in mind that other aspects of your application are also really important.</p>
<p>Yah, I am planning on self-studying AP Environmental Science and Comparitive Gov next year. I also got a 5 on Macroecon this year. I see your point about pre-calc. I’m not very good at math. Thanks for your comments!</p>

<p>At my school, the budget cuts have stopped a lot of the AP programs. APUSH was cut, and we dont have AP Bio or Chem this year. I think we only have 7 APs at our school, and I was planning on taking the rest of them senior year…</p>

u should be taking BC Calc, or at least honors precalc
take out orchestra unless you’ve done it for a long time (dedication)
bump up to PHysics C
Go to AP Lang not hon english
take out anatomy more APs like Econ, Chem, Bio</p>

-Pre-Calc is honors…but now i REALLY want to take Calc AB (at our school u must take AB before BC) Is there a way that i can skip pre-calc u think?
-I’ve done orchestra for a while (since 4th Grade) and do a lot of competitions and stuff
-At our school you have to take Physics B before C (ill be taking C next year)
-Hon English is a requirement (you can either take Basic, Reg, or Honors English 5, but u have to take hon english if u want to do AP Lit, which u can only take senior year)
-I took macroecon last year, but do u think i should take micro this year instead of anatomy?
-They discontinued the AP Bio and Chem programs at our school

<p>There are definitely a few prerequisites to Calculus, and seeing as your deadlocked by your choices, I guess your schedule is the best so far. Except you could probably add more APs</p>
