Junior/Senior Year Classes

Is this a good schedule for my upcoming years?
Junior:
AP Chem
AP Calc AB
World History
French 4
Symphony Band
Honors English 11

Senior:
AP Bio
AP Physics
AP French
AP Lit/Lang
Wind Ensemble
*Art (1/2 semester)
*Drawing I/Painting I (1/2 semester)

*Possibility

I want to be a chemical engineer, a chemist, or an architect

I would try to fit a math in senior year. Either BC or a CC math like multivariable calculus, etc.

I think your schedule looks good. I agree with southernbelle16 that you should try to fit in a senior year math unless AB is the highest math your school offers. I think the AP sciences will look good, as well as the AP foreign language.

Don’t take AP Physics and AP Bio together. For a future engineer, I’d keep Physics and regardless of hether you want to be an engineer or an architect, I’d take a math class (BC if you can, dual enrollment Multivariable Calculus if that’s available…) AP Lang is likely to be a better choice than AP Lit.

@Keegaanb Like the person above me said, I don’t recommend doubling up on AP Bio and Physics. I’m taking AP Bio right now and let me tell you, it’s a pretty challenging class. Anyway, if you want to be an engineer, definitely take AP Physics and high level math classes. For your junior year, I recommend taking AP Lang and for your senior year, replace AP Bio with AP Calc BC.
