I just transferred to a much better university after meeting 62 credits at my first university, along with transferring i also changed my major...so really i have sophomore standing in a way and wont graduate in time a regular junior will.

I have never prepared a resume, since im in college will employers looking for interns care about ANYthing from high school? do I include my GPA from my other school?

IF i were to talk to a recruiter at a fair would i claim I am a junior? (a real engineering junior has taken engineering courses, all i have is every single preReq.// so it seems a bit misleading)

I am in a similar boat as far as the credits go(I have 90+ but still have nearly 60 to go). You should go with telling them you are a sophomore. For starters, this better reflects your education as far as engineering goes, and more importantly better reflects the timeframe they can give you an internship. For accounting, they recruit waaaaay in advance so if you are already too close to graduation you can’t get an internship.

Or better yet, you could explain your situation to the recruiter if you share more than 10 words with him or her.

Some internship applications state what they want explicitly. They may want your high-school transcript or they might only want your college transcripts. You should see your college career center for help in writing your resume. They might also provide training on interviewing.

go to your career center at school and ask a career counselor on how to prepare a resume and cover letter. thats probably the most important step at this point and time. The transcripts which they request is usually unofficial transcript and you can just ask for a copy at your school.

Most school’s CC are useless. You can find all the information that they give you online
