Does JSSS look good on a college app????
is it prestigious?

I think JSA does look good on a college app. I attended the Stanford session '05 and one of the professors wrote a rec for me which definitely boosted my app. It's also a really great experience. I still talk to the friends that I've made there.

bump and 10char

I hate these questions, do not just do something because it may look good, do it because you will learn something, have fun and grow, and its your passion or you want to learn something new

my d did JSA and loved it, but she did it because she likes that kind of stuff (Georgetown Program) and most of the other kids there did it because it was interesting to them, not just to boost an APp

I have to agree with you, citygirlsmom. I admit- I went into the JSA program thinking that it would be no big deal and that it would look great on my app but the three weeks that I spent there really did change my life. It's a lot of work.. you will definitely be very tired and academically challenged by the end of it but it's also an amazing experience. I really don't know how else to describe it.

Again, I definitely rec going if you have the chance. Not just for the perks of being able to put it on your app, but for the sake of just going and having the experience.
