Another question for someone considering transfer- By the end of June next year, I will be a junior because I have 20 credit hours to transfer, and will take 40 or so hours at school, which will make me a junior. So, is becoming a junior detrimental in the transfer application process, especially because I want them to consider my HS record and SAT/ACT scores?

It depends on the school. UCs dont look at your high school record. I know USC for instance does.

I am looking more at Stanford, Johns Hopkins, Washington University in St. Louis, Columbia, Dartmouth

USC makes you show prrof of grad for junior transfers. I dont know closely they look at the grades though. I was just accepted but only had around 2.9 hs gpa

I didn't go to college and I got into some top schools......many just don't care at the junior transfer level.

sorry....meant to say high school.....
