<p>going to a good school hurts you and a&m doesn’t look at race so that doesn’t help you either. your test score is good but not great, you should take the act too, i had the same SAT as you but somehow had a very high ACT. The tests are very different so do take both. Do what you can to get your class rank up, and make sure to apply the first day that you can. Alot of my friends with better credentials then you got waitlisted because they waited until late january to apply. Your chances are ok, i wouldnt say great, but you do have an ok chance.</p>
