our school APEL class is crazy though. we have to write like a 200 page paper..its due in two weeks. shoot me now.

i have no idea actually. i want to go into law, and my parents/ teacher who used to be a lawyer, want me to go into business
as then i can go into business law.. thing is, i'm terrible at math!!! @@
i'm a history/humanities person. and im still undecided about law anyways.

this year is

AP Lang

I'm into history/humanities, not sure exactly what I want to major in, although I'm intersted in history/sociology/anthropology. IDK what I want to do either, will prob go into law.
My dream school is currently Brown
not sure about the others yet =P
other reach schools possible include upenn, northwestern, and yale (hahahha witha 5% admit rate....)
some random ones I was thinking of include Rice, Umich, UNC-CH, UVA, Tufts, Skidmore, Penn State, UDeleware, Pomona...yeah basically alllll over the place. Some small lib. arts colleges look nice but I need to think more about the size I want---I definitely think I want something significantly bigger than my high school.

Wow, so many AP/Honors students. I feel so below average.

Current schedule:
Chemistry
Japanese 3
English 3
AP Psychology (probably going to fail the exam)
AP US History (another possible failure)
AP Calculus AB (likely going to pass thanks to my very experienced teacher!)

Senior schedule (subject to change):
English 4
AVID Leadership (I get to be a tutor)
AP Calculus BC
AP Human Geography
AP Government
AP Japanese (really not sure if I should take this)

Applying to: UC Berkeley, UCLA, UC Irvine, UC Davis, UCSB, etc...

High school life: WORST YEAR EVA. My GPA is ruined!

Yeah...

Well I'm taking:
AP Bio
AP US
AP English
Spanish III
Pre Calc.
Band
Computers

Hey class of 09 this year has been rough i've got:
Photo (the teacher hates anyone who is not a profesional photographer)
Math Analysis
Spanish 2
AP Bio
AP English
APUSH
AVID
doesn't seem like much but it is one of the hardest avalible @ my school. I have no social life bc my bio teacher says "your social life is bad" and he gives us enoug homework so that we can't have one. He is cool thiough. My english teacher is prety much hated by one and all, it is one of our classes unifing factors. She changes the instructions of major assingments the day before they are due and is supper condecending, then she tries to be your best friend.

Hey blackberry u should tutor my AVID class we have no tutors lol

This year: English (regular level :)), AP Biology, AP Stat, AP Calc BC, APUSH, Orchestra, Spanish, "Math Research"

Next year: AP Environmental, AP Physics, hopefully my school'll let me into AP Compsci, not really sure about humanities because our school's system is messed up..

Junior year is probably the most fun I've had in my entire life.

Hey guys :)

Right now I'm taking:
IB Spanish 4 SL
IB English SL
IB European History SL (I guess it's an AP)
IB Theory of Knowledge
IB Biology SL
Honors PreCalculus
Orchestra
Newspaper

Next year:
AP Statistics
IB World Area Studies HL
IB English HL
IB Theory of Knowledge
IB Math SL
Newspaper
IB Psychology SL
IB Biology HL
Off period

And even though I'm pretty sure I'm only going to end up at University of Texas at Austin, I want to apply to Rice, USC, UCSD, UCLA, and Johns Hopkins.

High school is stressful right now, and that's all I can say about that. x)

Instead of my real schedule, here's a hypothetical schedule that, in terms of difficulty, is "typical CC," even though I probably might go crazy with this schedule:

AP Chem
APUSH
AP Cal AB
Honors English
Honors French IV
Orchestra
AP Comp Sci A

But seriously. There definitely are people who fib when they post their schedules/AP classes here, right? I mean, it's pretty easy to do. Look what I've just done.

Wow I hate my school. Since my school is so small, all the AP classes occur during only one period, leaving scheduling conflicts galore.

Originally I was hoping to have this schedule for my senior year:

APUSH
AP Chem
AP Calc
Band
AP Lit
AP Bio

Now Band, APUSH, AND CHEM are in the same period leaving me with several lesser possibilities:

Best choice possible 1:

APUSH
Band moved to 2nd period to facilitate AP kids
AP Calc
Spanish 4
AP Lit
AP Bio
Possible self study/independent study AP Chem

Choice 2:
APUSH
Independent Study AP Chem
AP Calc
Spanish 4
AP Lit
AP Bio
Still a band student, but I would only attend after school rehersals, concerts, etc...I'm not sure how that would looking dropping the actual band class considering it's my most important EC.

Choice3:
Band
Independent Study AP Chem or APUSH
AP Calc
Spanish 4
AP Lit
AP Bio

I keep band, but lose an AP...I don't want colleges to think I'm taking an easier class instead of an AP.

What do you guys think I should do? I'm gonna try and go in tomorrow w/ some other band kids to see if they can switch the band period to second, in which case I can pick choice 1.

Current Schedule:[ol]
[]Chemistry
[]Algebra II
[]AP US History
[]AP Art History
[]Religion Class
[]AP English Language
[li]Spanish III[/ol]Self-Study AP's: AP Chemistry, AP Psychology, AP Human Geography
[/li]

Future Schedule:[ol]
[]AP Physics B
[]AP Biology
[]AP English Literature
[]AP Spanish Language
[]AP US Government & Politics
[]Religion Class
[li]PreCalculus (If I don't take it at a CC)[/ol][/li]My school is pretty decent, I attend an all-boys private Catholic high school. I just cannot wait to go to college though. I have a 'finalized list' of colleges I would like to apply to. Near the top are my reach schools, such as Amherst College or Middlebury College, however my realistic choices are Macalester College, Whitman College, and Saint Olaf College. I have other safety schools too. My GPA is pretty lackluster because I did not do so well in my religion classes freshman year, and I've never been great at math so I earned a 'B' and a 'C' Sophomore year and last semester. I really wish I could have been motivated to do well my first two years; I was apathetic to everything. I hope colleges will recognize that I have an upward trend in my GPA. As far as school life goes, it's alright. Enough to cause me depression and such. My SAT scores are pretty average too; in fact I'm sure they would be deemed 'horrible' on CC.

This year:
Geometry
PreCalc

Adv Bio
English 3
History 3
Russian 1 & 2

Next year:

Probably applying to: Furman, Wofford, Xavier. That's all I know for now.
