Junior Thread

and now I'm contemplating adding either AP Bio or AP Chem</p>

<p>Planning on applying to:
St. Olaf, Carleton, Grinnell, U of Chicago, Lawrence, Kenyon, Concordia, U of Minnesota</p>

<p>I guess I'll jump on the bandwagon...</p>

<p>This year: Calculus, Electronics 2, AP Psych, Interactive Design, Multimedia Tech, Physics, AP Lang, Robotics Research V, APUSH</p>

<p>Next Year: AP Calc AB, AP Lit, AP Gov, Anatomy & Physiology, Cinematography, Robotics Research VI, German III (if my school offers it again), and I'll have to see what's available for my last course</p>

<p>Applying to: MIT, CMU, WPI, UF, Olin, Georgia Tech, BU</p>

<p>I think I have one of the coolest Avid classes. All we do is chill.</p>

<p>Junior year:
AP Chem, French 4, AP Stats, Lunch!/[I tutor kids at my school's "Lit Center"], AP World, AP Calc BC, AP Lang, Gym (err right now, it's medical study hall. I stress fractured my ankle playing sports, gah my season is over)</p>

<p>Senior year:
AP Bio, Multivariable Calculus/Linear Algebra, AP Comp Prg, AP Lit, AP French, AP US History. lunch and gym.</p>

<p>Colleges I'm considering: Stanford, MIT (although probably not cause my sis goes there..), Caltech, UChicago, Columbia, Cornell, Northwestern, U of I, USC, Duke.</p>

<p>Hey did you guys know the class of 09 is the largest graduating class in history? Yeah so we rock. A-Card I defenetly have junioritis, lol :)</p>

<p>True, but it's fun to claim that we're better simply because there happens to be more of us. =)</p>

<p>Yeah, we're the largest class and are probably going to have the lowest acceptance rates in history as well...:p</p>

<p>are we for sure the largest class though?? there's threads that are arguing that 08 is the largest class. Gosh, i hope that's true. college admissions were so screwed up this year, i'm afraid i won't get in anywhere!</p>

<p>Anyone applying to UCLA and Berkeley? If so, can you guys post your UC HS/unweighted/weighted GPAs + test scores? That way, we can expect what each of us will be competing against when the application time comes. I will start off with mine.</p>

<p>I've been wanting to do pre-med or pre-dentistry for the last 3 years but just this week, I changed my mind. I want to major in International Study now because I realized that I'm more interested in that area.. But that doesn't mean I have given up on becoming a doctor or dentist, I just want to see if I actually like that stuff. However, my mind fluctuates a lot so you never know, LOL.</p>

<p>Right now, I'm taking Pre-Calc, Honors Physics, Newspaper production (I'm the editor), an English class at the state U and a Spanish class at the second-best school in my state. Next year, I'm hoping to take an English class there too, and take AP Calc, AP Environmental Science, and Newspaper at my high school.</p>

<p>I'm applying to Yale EA, and, if I don't get in (which is likely) Harvard, Princeton (I have a double legacy there), Stanford, Northwestern, Brown, Amherst, and Pomona.</p>

<p>is it true that class of 2013 will have much harder time when applying to colleges b/c there're so many good ppl, compared to class of 2012?</p>

<p>Random, but I took my Foods class (a requirement) online. Lol, so much for that.</p>

<p>And I don't know about a "much harder time," but yes, it'll be slightly more difficult than this year, which is alarming considering what a massacre 08 was.</p>
