Has everyone gotten decisions? How competitive is transfer admissions this year? 40% range again?

Hey I bet you'll love Austin...it's my hometown...really it's the best.

I know! I am not sure if I will transfer anywhere next semester (includes Harvard if accepted--likely rejection) but still undecided. I want to finish med school requirements. I need to find out if I can delay transfer to the spring.

I have been to 6th street a few times!...great place

I think all the decisions have been made.

really? except of course for freshmen who don't have 30 credits yet.

Congrats gregarmis! Are you planning on going?

I'm transferring to UT with 33 credit hours and 3.3 GPA, and yet still I haven't gotten a decision yet. I think their taking too long to make a decision

what is your intended major? BTW... I called admissions, and they are still making decisions.

I'm hoping to start with liberal arts and then transfer into McCombs, but from what i've heard its seems that everyone wants to do the same, so i'm strongly considering Texas Tech and Texas A&M right now.

Look into Texas State University and the business school that they have. If you get directly into their business program, you might want to consider them. If you would rather go to a big name school, you have mentioned a few great schools but will be more competitive to get into their respected business schools. Texas Tech seems like a match for you. You have a great shot at Texas A&M. I would be surprised if you do not get into one, or two, of your three choices. Good luck!

haha Texas State.. that's a joke. I agree with Texas A&M though- they have a decent business program (gag), but nothing close to McCombs ;)

Haha just got accepted!!!
