junior v senior

(even more trimmed down version of earlier post)

Do top universities put a large emphasis on specifically when the bulk of AP classes are taken or are they primarily concerned with just the total taken overall?

For example, the average total number of APs at my school is around 6. I will have taken 9 by the end of high school, but while most of the higher end students take the bullk of these courses as juniors, I, due to incompetance from counseling, will be taken most of mine as a senior. (reasoning behind concern is that many say heavier junior load is far better for UCs)

bump please?

I doubt it matters. Many schools don’t offer APs to underclassmen. I only took 1 this year but will take 6 next year due to that. I think as long as you take hard courses and do well then they are happy.
Obviously it looks good if a you took APs as a freshman and sophomore, but I don’t think it hurts you not to, as long as you were taking honors courses and stuff.
