hey zagat, you seem very experienced in the college admissions process. can you tell me what my chances are? my stats are posted at the "evaluate my cances please!" thread. (btw i am also known as primitivefuture) . thanks zagat, you input will be very important to me.

justanothernerd, if you get accepted to those top schools, you'll get more than plenty of aid, so you won't have a problem attending. Look for any need-blind schools - those schools will cover you for financial aid. Don't count on merit scholarships, since while your numbers are high, they aren't sky-high.

I'm curious about your track team. If you live in a ghetto, who can afford $500 to join such a team?

sure this guy's for real?

lolok1214 - I'm a little confused as well. If he is... then he is remarkable. However - 2000 hourse? Working at 2 hours a day every day (and I mean every day, 365 a year) he can barely reach that in 3 years.

there nothing unusual. I am way over 2000 hours, almost on 3000 hours.

I do it four hours a day ever since the summer after 10th grade (i did ALOT of community service in the summer)

gregunit you're scores are good but they're not godlike like people claim. BUt good rank; you're genuinely a smart kid, except for the 0.01% rank thing, that was pretty odd.
whoops, my mistake. Type, thats the top 1.4%.
zagat 2000 hours is almost a year full time. Certainly this would be a record on the part of a student. I would have the head of the hospital write an appropriate testamonial. The only thing is, how did he do this and work to support his family at the same time?
Please stop trying to question my credibility. I'll explain it to you. Okay, when I work, it does not count because guess what, it's not on files. So i get paid "underhand" and hey, I only work a couple hours a day making 12.50 an hour. So lets see, i get outta school at approximately 3:00. I work from 3:00 to 5:00, 2 hours of work. 12.50 x 2 = 25.00. I make 25.00 a day. 25.00 x 30 days = 750 a month. That is sorta enough to cover all the bills and such. Thne from 5:00 to 7:00, i go volunteer at the local hospital for 2 hours. 2 hours x 30 = 60 hours. 60 hours for one month. 60 x 12 = 720 hours a year. I been doing this since beginning of freshmen year. 720 x 3 years (approximately) = 2160 hours thus far. Then from 7:00 to 1:00, i do my homework and do all the chores at home. Sorry for boring you guys but i had to prove to you that im not a fake. Stop trying to question me.

tetrahedr0n justanothernerd, I'm curious about your track team. If you live in a ghetto, who can afford $500 to join such a team?

Not all poor people live in the ghetto. I say half the students at my school aren't even poor, they're middle-class. I should classified this, its not exactly a "ghetto" but it's been KNOWN to be a ghetto

tetrahedr0n lolok1214 - I'm a little confused as well. If he is... then he is remarkable. However - 2000 hourse? Working at 2 hours a day every day (and I mean every day, 365 a year) he can barely reach that in 3 years.
I just proved up there that i can reach 2000 in 3 years.
lolok1214 sure this guy's for real?
Yes, i am for real.

cryptic_fate there nothing unusual. I am way over 2000 hours, almost on 3000 hours.

Thank you for sharing your opinion. I appreciate it.
Why do I bother going on this when all i get is a bunch of people questioning my credentials? Gosh, I didnt ask you to question my stats. I asked you to "Evaluate" it. I'm sorry guys but some people here are just plain rude.

just, then you are truly exceptional. I grew up with very poor people and I work in a ghetto with high school kids two day every week. I have never met one who needed to help their family financially who gave equal time to volunteer work.

Well, like I said earlier "If he is... then he is remarkable." When we deal with remarkable people, theres always doubt, especially on an anonymous forum. Sorry, just an honest mistake.
