Junior- Where Do I Stand?

Hey, i'm looking at colleges, and I'm wondering If I'm competitive enough to get accepted to some top-tier schools.

Any comments or feedback would be appreciated.

Stats:

GPA: 4.0 (4.0 Scale)
ACT: 33 (I took it today, and I'm thinking I scored in the 34-35 range)
PSAT: 223 = Likely National Merit Finalist (I think??)
Rank: 1/94
AP: US History (4)
My school doesn't offer AP or honors courses, but a teacher suggested I take the test. I didn't really know what I was getting myself into at the time, but I managed a 4 regardless.

Info:

Race: White
Gender: Male
Family Income: Too much for any sort of aid
School: public school in rural appalachia
-School is not really competitive at all. It offers no Honors or AP classes,
but I still take the hardest classes. Pretty much everyone stays in state
for college. I don't think anyone has ever even applied to an Ivy.

EC:

Tennis- 9,10,11,(12) Probably will be captain senior year
Soccer- 9,10
Mock Trial- 9,10,11,(12)
-We went to state this year
-I won outstanding attorney in all 8 of my trials
Quiz Team- 9,10,11,(12) Captain
NHS- 11,(12)
Student Council- 11(12, hopefully)
Bible Club- 10,11(12)

Other Stuff:
-Going to boys state over the summer
-3rd place for ohio in American Legion Oratorical Contest (I was screwed out of winning, but that's another story)
-Worked for my Uncle's law office since 7th grade
-Did legal research, wrote motions and legal documents, I even handled
a case by myself (with my uncle's signature on everything, of course)

What i'm thinking:

Likely major: Economics or Finance
-I want to be an attorney

Miami U. Ohio (probable Safety)
Tulane
UNC- Chapel Hill
Duke
Northwestern
Cornell
Dartmouth
I really want to go to Wharton!

(If I get a 35 or 36, I might send an app to Harvard or Yale and see what happens)

What are my chances?

Any suggestions?

Miami U. Ohio -Safety-100%
Tulane-safety-100%
UNC- Chapel Hill-safety-95%
Duke-match-70%
Northwestern-match-65%
Cornell-low reach-30%
Dartmouth-reach-25%
Wharton-reach-15%

Take harder courses online next year if your school doesnt provide any.
You have a good chance of getting into the mentioned schools if you take harder courses and the AP tests.

You have good chances at all of them, with your ECs and other stuff. Make sure to highlight your passion/focus in your essays and such. That's of utmost importance.

Take some college courses over the summer (or even just a summer scholar program) and perhaps try to take some more APs even if your school does not offer them. Just pick up a review book and you're set. From my experience, history APs really aren't that challenging, so if you're looking for something more difficult aim for the English Literature AP, which is presumable hard... although I have yet to take it this May.

try taking the SATs, if you have good SAT scores on top of your amazing ACT score than your chances would be higher for ivies

Bump

Is it really that much harder to get into Cornell or Dartmouth than Duke?

Also, does anyone know of some top-tier schools where I could qualify for merit scholarships?

Thanks for the help everyone.

My take on your chances... rating scale of: high reach, reach, semi-reach, good fit, likely, safety.

Miami U. Ohio... SAFETY.
Tulane... LIKELY.
UNC- Chapel Hill... LIKELY.
Duke... REACH.
Northwestern... SEMI-REACH.
Cornell... SEMI-REACH.
Dartmouth... REACH.
Wharton (Penn)... REACH.

If you're an underrepresented state in appalachia (ex: West Virginia) your chances are a bit better than how I've rated them... you could probably consider Northwestern a "good fit" if that were the case and Dartmouth would be closer to a "semi-reach."

Bump- Anyone else have any input?

I would be very surprised if you didn't get into both Tulane and Miami @ Ohio with a lot of free money.

You have a decent chance at UNC CH but they tend to favor in-states so it's not really close to certain.

Penn, Dartmouth, Duke, and Cornell are all reaches, but if I would say you're more likely to get into Duke and Cornell than the others.

Just keep up your hard work.
