AP bio
Chemistry hon
20th century va n us history hon
trigonometry hon
german II
english 10 hon
econ n personal finance
Im an average student (A-) and am planning to take the following classes junior year:
Organic/biochem hon
AP Calc AB
AP Chem
AP English 11 (easier than honors in my school)
German III
and am debating whether to take APUSH or honors since its a hard course but im interested in history and do generally well in history classes. Any suggestions?
I would say APUSH, if you are doing good in AP bio, you should be able to handle it. AP Chem is easier than bio in my opinion and AP Calc AB shouldn’t be too bad if you enjoy math.
AP English Lang should be a breeze, honestly, not too bad of a schedule.
Do you have a study hall? How are you doing specifically in math and science? Both AP Chem and AP Calc AB can be very difficult as well as time consuming. Do you have EC’s, a job, etc. that will take up time next year? APUSH is time consuming, but if that is where you interest is, determine if you have the time to dedicate to all the AP’s. Also check with others on the teachers. A teacher can make all the difference.
I’m a junior rn and am taking nearly the same schedule as you have planned, the only thing different is AP bio instead of ap chem. I am also taking APUSH and have managed to keep my GPA up, but it has been a lot of work. If you are busy with other things like sports, I would probably recommend just doing 3 AP classes, but if you have the time then college credit opportunities are always great
