Hello readers. Lately I've been thinking about my junior year course selections. I'm just wondering whether its up to par. My schedule is as follows: AP Biology, AP US History Ⅱ, AP Government & Politics, Honors Chemistry, Honors Spanish Ⅲ, AP Language & Composition, and Alg. 2 & Trig. I have a pretty lengthy list of ECs and lots of volunteering experience. Please comment even if you think it is bad.

Since you’re posting on a princeton forum, I’ll assume you want advice in that context. A prime criterion for admissions to top schools is a very rigorous schedule. Without knowing what else your school offers, no one can definitively say your schedule is good/bad/or ugly.

Is it among the most rigorous for Juniors at your school in general? If so, then there’s your answer.

I think you just want to be taking the highest level in whatever course your school offers and you want to be doing very well in them. T26E4 is correct that it really depends what your school is offering. Admissions expects you to take advantage of the highest offerings at your school at a school like Princeton. Do others agree?
