Junior year grades

I am really panicking right now
because it is finals and after it
i think i’m only going to have 2 As.
One C- and the rest Bs.
I thought i was going to have 4 As but it turns out my AP lang final brought my grade down from a 89.99% to an 88%.
And with math i am at a 85% right now and the final is worth 25% of my grade but i know it won’t get me to an A-. maybe a 87-88 percent at the most.
I am feeling so sick to the stomach because it has been my goal to try for the UCs
and now i know it’s hopeless.
I am taking 3 AP classes at the moment.
I won’t have a chance at UCI, let alone the other UCs right?
This is horrible grades right?
All my friends have Cs and Ds and Bs but they are them and i am me, and i realy thought i could do well but it turns out i can’t this time…
what should i do…?
There’s no point seeing a counselor at this time now.
It’s too late.

What is your current GPA? One C will not make or break your chances. At the end of Junior year calculate your UC GPA. If your UC GPA is 4.0+, your chances are not blown for the majority of UC’s. If below 4.0 (3.5-3.9) there are still several UC’s where you have a decent chance GPA is not everything so if you have good test scores, rigorous HS classes, excellent essays and EC’s there is always a chance. Do not give up and end the year strong.
