Junior Year or Senior Year more rigorous?

Which year should be more rigorous? I took 5 AP’s last year which included AP Chem, and AP Calc. I am taking APES, AP Macro, AP psych, AP stats, and AP English literature next year. The classes aren’t as hard as junior year. Did I screw myself or should junior year be more important?

Both years are going to be rigorous OP- you’re taking 5 APs! As long as colleges see that you are taking difficult classes both years, they aren’t really going to mind which one might have been more rigorous.
What matters is that your GC checks off “most rigorous schedule” in her school report- that’s what the top colleges look for.

Personally, I’d go with about equal to slightly less rigor during your senior year. Don’t make it look like you’re coasting, though. With ECs and college apps (way more important than added rigor, again IMO) you don’t want grades to slip.
