Junior Year Plans or nah?

I apologize if the title seems as if it was written by an obnoxious lax bro.

So I recently found out that I MUST abandon all of my extra curriculars (goodbye any chances I had at a good uni) due to financial issues. I was thinking perhaps I should not let myself slip AT ALL in terms of my academics. I finally decided what my junior year course will be. I am extremely advanced in mathematics, but I simply cannot afford a summer college class.... I was going to take AP Calculus BC, but here is my schedule:

AP English Language and Composition
Word Derivation and Etymology (semester)
Poetry of Song (semester)
Honors Spanish 4
AP US History Part 2
Honors Pre-Calculus
AP Statistics
AP Physics 1 <33333333333333333333

So during the summer, I will be working my life away at a job that I currently must abandon my ECs for to help my family. My guidance counselor is really rooting for me and has agreed to help me. She will allow me to borrow a stats textbook, the Spanish 4 materials (I LOVE languages and am sort of a polyglot), and to keep the precalculus textbook for the summer. I have already went through precalc and I am very good in physics, so I will be allowed to outline the books. I have already read the majority of the books on the AP English curriculum. We keep the APUSH textbooks for 2 years, so I will outline that and be done with it. Do you all think this is a good plan? My GC agrees with it, since I will earn quite a few A+'s on my report card by doing this. I really want to move up in class rank and prove that I am competent; colleges definitely don't seek out the poor and dumb. I don't know... I may abandon the idea of applying to top universities. It is not as if I would fit in anyway. But I think this should help me do fairly well on SAT subject tests as well. Really, ALL that is special (not even) about me is that my writing is funny and out of the box, I speak 6 languages and I am learning more (I'm no Timothy Doner <3), and I LOVE physics to death. I am an URM, so I guess that's good. Anyways I want your sass and your advice CCers :)

You actually do seem like you could be on track for a top college! You seem really hardworking, and the fact that your lack of extracurriculars is due to financial difficulties should be understandable to many colleges- you are getting a job, so it shows that you are responsible and not just quitting activities due to laziness. It would be a good idea to elaborate on your financial situation on your application, and if you talk about how you tried to succeed in spite of it, it could make a great essay. Your schedule is fine, especially if you think you’ll be able to do well in those courses and related subject tests. Being a URM will also give you a significant boost. Good luck, and I’m sure you’ll be determined enough to succeed no matter what happens.
