Junior Year Schedual...?

Hello,

I am a sophomore right now and I have a dilemma. I will give you my current classes I have taken:

9th English Hon
10th English Hon
Accelerated Math I (Equiv. Alg 1 Hon + Geom. 1 Hon)
Alg 2 Hon
Gov + Economics
AP European History
Biology Hon
Chem Hon
Physics I
Spanish I, II Hon, III Hon
French I, II Hon
Health
Personal Fitness
Band I, II

My GPA is a 3.6(W)
I know I want to do:
AP LANG
AP World
Pre-Cal (OR AP AB if I take Pre-Cal over the summer)
AP Spanish IV
French III
Band (top band)
And An Elective.

My question is what is best for my elective?
AP Music?
AP Psych?
Or
Chinese I

I have pros and cons for each!
Music - Love music+Weighted class | Not majoring in it
Psych - "easy A"+Weighted class | Not majoring in it + Not that exited for the class
Chinese (Mandarin) - LOVE LANGUAGES+Thinking of majoring in it | NOT WEIGHTED + Need to take it two years.

I want to get into a more selective college (Not Ivy, There is no way I could make that.) What do you think I should take? OR Feel free to add another class that could help my standings?

P.S. Pre-cal over the summer or not?

I say go for Chinese since that’s what you are most interested in. Also for calculus that would make four AP’s and that may be a little overboard.

/Facepalm thanks.

For real help lol. If you’re thinking of majoring in language, go for Chinese. If you’re looking for a class you’ll likely get credit for and will look more rigorous for college in general, it doesn’t hurt to take the AP (probably Psych is the easier and more interesting one unless you love music). But if you want to major in language, it does look better to double up on language.

I’ld take Psych off your list. you don’t seem interested in it. at least not nearly as much as you are in music or chinese

Summer courses are tough, you have to cram a year’s worth of material into a few weeks.

I would go with chinese … you have two languages already, and seem to have a passion for it.
