I have to turn in my schedule by Friday and I need some advice on my schedule for next year. My school only lets us schedule 3 APs a year just as a side note.

English 11 (req.)
History 11 (req.)
AP Calculus AB
Chemistry
AP Spanish 5 / Regular Spanish 5
AP Physics B / AP Euro / APAH
Free Period / 3 History Trimester Electives / Engineering

The first four classes I am taking for sure, no problems there. AP Spanish 5 is known for being difficult at my school, so I was thinking of just taking regular Spanish 5 and adding another AP elsewhere. I want to take AP Physics B next year, but I'm wondering if it will be too hard with my current course load. AP Euro and APAH are alternative options because I really want to take 3 APs. The last period I originally wanted to be free, but now I'm wondering if I should take some other classes so I can have the most rigorous schedule.

Drop AP spanish and take reg spanish 5. Also, take physics B if it is a yearlong course

Take regular Spanish and then AP Physics and whichever is easier out of APUSH and AP World.

Hmm I’ll probably end up taking regular Spanish 5. Any suggestions on the last slot?

I’d say definitely take AP Physics, and I think that since you can only take 3 APs, you should definitely take 3 APs, whatever the third might be. And free periods can really wreak havoc on work ethic, so I’d advise against that.

^ I have a free period and it has literally saved my life many times. But I agree that you should take three APs. Do Calc, Physics, and pick one more. What are your options?

The only AP’s that I can take are

AP Calculus AB
AP Physics B

AP Spanish 5 - difficult, hard course load, good but challenging teacher
AP Stats - easy, teacher’s fine
AP Euro - relatively easy but hard course load, awesome teacher
AP Art History - not too sure about this one but I’ve heard the teacher is amazing
AP Environmental Science - easy as pie, don’t know much about the teacher

Definitely going to take the first two. Not sure which one of the others I should take.

Take whatever you’re interested in and you’ll be fine. If you want to major in science, do APES. Even if it is seen as “easier,” its still AP and will be a GPA booster. And junior year is difficult enough with the SAT/ACT and EC’s and stuff. If you like history, do Euro or Art history. You can’t go wrong with stat either. I’m in it right now and it actually has some interesting stuff regarding analyzing science experiments.

I wouldn’t recommend AP Spanish unless it’s something you really like.
