Junior year schedule? URGENT HELP!

Hi! I’m currently a junior and I want to drop my college marketing class because the work in my other classes is already so intense. However, if I can’t go into another elective, I would just have a free period. I already have a lunch period, which is basically like a free period. Will it look bad to colleges if I have 2 free periods? It doesn’t show up on my transcript.

Also, last year I filled up my schedule so I didn’t have a lunch nor a free period (if that even matters).

It’s not the end of the world, especially if you already have a rigorous courseload. Use the time to study and do homework- it’s better to have a free period and ace your other classes than overload yourself and fail them all. If you feel up to it, maybe self-study for an AP exam. Have a great year!

A free period is fine, it’s not a huge deal. Lunch counts as a period??
