Junior Year Schedule?

I’m registering for my junior year of high school this week and I have a few questions! I am taking spanish at the community college over the summer and during the year I am definitely taking honors wind ensemble (band), AP English, and AP Chemistry. I also play golf year round and will be taking journalism in the second semester. However I am still unsure if I should take AP Calculus AB or AP Calculus BC (my teacher recommended me for BC even though I have never taken calculus before) and I am unsure if I should take APUSH.

I have extracurriculars going right now and more planned for next year, and I also know about SAT, ACT, and AP Exam prep during junior year so I understand I need to budget my time well. I don’t think I’ll be good enough to make the Ivy League but I do want to go to a somewhat prestigious school to study in the STEM field if that helps. What classes do you think I should take based on this info? Thanks in advance for your advice!

Considering how busy your schedule is, and the fact there’s no advantage for you to take BC vs. AB as a junior, I’d strongly recommend you take AB.
Ask your teacher if you take AB junior year, can you take BC senior year, or would you be allowed to take calc2 at the community college senior year?

@MYOS1634 Yes, if I took AB my junior year the next step would be to take BC my senior year. Thanks for your input!
